We started with a simple belief: that plant-based food should be held to the same standard as anything else.
For years, plant-based food was positioned as an alternative — something you chose instead of the real thing. We rejected that framing from the beginning. Sizzle™ isn\'t an alternative to anything. It\'s a product category we decided to do better.
We spent the first year just developing The Head Brat™. Not launching a brand, not building a website — developing one sausage until it was right. That process taught us what the brand was going to be.
Everything since has followed from that. The same patience. The same standards. The same refusal to ship something we wouldn\'t want to eat ourselves.

What We Believe
Four things we
don't negotiate on.
Taste first.
Every decision starts with the question: does this make it taste better? If the answer isn't yes, the decision doesn't get made.
No shortcuts.
Caramelized onion takes 45 minutes. Cold-pressing takes longer than pressing. We do both. The product knows the difference.
Finish it right.
Twelve iterations isn't a story we tell. It's a quality threshold. We release when it's right, not when it's close.
Design matters.
Food is experienced before it's eaten. Every touchpoint — packaging, presentation, copy — is designed with intention.
